SHONA DEWAR BSc (Hons), MSc, MCSP, MSOMM
Shona is a chartered physiotherapist with registration of the Health & Care Professions Council. She graduated from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh in 2004 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. In 2014 she completed her Masters degree in Musculoskeletal Medicine, specialising in spinal manipulation for chronic low back pain.
Shona has more than 10 years’ experience at a senior level treating members of the public with musculoskeletal injuries both privately and within the NHS and has spent several years working with sportsmen both on and off the sports field. These experiences have enabled her to bring a wide variety of skills and expertise to the Musculoskeletal setting.
Having also worked in the Occupational Health setting, Shona is also trained in carrying out Ergonomic and Display Screen assessments.
When not working Shona divides her free time between her dog, her husband and personal interest in running.
CLAIRE CAMPBELL BSc, MSc, MCSP
Claire is a chartered physiotherapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Physiotherapy Pain Association
Claire first qualified with a BSc(Hons) in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Limerick, Ireland in 2006 and by January 2010, she had completed her MSc (pre-registration) in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University.
Since qualifying, Claire has gained over 5 years' experience within the NHS, treating a wide range of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. She has also worked as a physiotherapist for four years with an Edinburgh-based rugby club.
Claire has expertise in the assessment and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, and acute and persistent conditions. She has a special interest in persistent pain and supporting patients to return to activities they enjoy.
SCOTT ADAMS BPhty, BSc
Scott joins our team from New Zealand. He qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2012 from the University of Otago in Dunedin, NZ, after studying Biochemistry. Scott is now registered with the Health & Care Professions Council here in the UK and is also a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
Scott has over two years’ experience working in Queensland, Australia in private practice, sideline sports and occupational health physiotherapy roles. Scott has also supported touring sports teams in Australia, UK and Europe including several New Zealand and Australian Ultimate Frisbee teams at World Championships.
The varied experience Scott has gained enables him to efficiently identify and diagnose a wide range of Musculo-skeletal injuries and perform expert treatment to get patients quickly back to sport, work and the activities they enjoy.
